The Wild Invitation
-
In the earliest days of the church, recorded in the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit transformed ordinary people into courageous ambassadors of Christ's upside-down kingdom. But too often today we settle for a routine, ordinary, "tame" faith, not realizing that the bold, miraculous, explosive, unstoppable faith the early Christians experienced is still available to us.
This seven-week, verse-by-verse study through the book of Acts invites you to embrace the unpredictable, sometimes challenging adventure of Spirit-led living that characterized the early church. Through daily Scripture reading, reflection questions, and group discussion, participants will experience firsthand how a life submitted to the Holy Spirit--though at times inconvenient and uncomfortable--is infinitely more fulfilling than one lived according to safety, comfort, and control. -

In My Feels

It’s OK to feel …
Hurt, Lonely, Sad, Angry, Afraid, Ashamed, Guilty, Joyful
God created each of us to experience an incredible spectrum of emotions. We know what it’s like to experience those emotions fully, frequently, and often in no explicable order. That’s not by accident!
God uses all of our feelings as an invitation to experience Him more fully and intimately.
In this 8-session Bible study, Mac and Kenz take us on a journey of getting in our feels together. We’re going to dive into eight core feelings—hurt, loneliness, sadness, anger, fear, shame, guilt, and joy—and see how Scripture highlights the beauty of each one in order for us to understand and embrace our emotions. -
